All About Me

Paws for Thought

Dedicated to my passion and adoration for animal care, I became a professional Pet Sitter early in 2021. Ever since, I have been providing loyal and loving pet care and services to the Wymondham area and beyond.

I have lived in Norfolk all my life and ever since I was a young child I have always had a connection with animals. I have had many pets myself over the years and have a wealth of experience. I currently have two special needs cats, one being elderly and deaf and the other with multiple food allergies. We also have chickens, fish, frogs and ducks. I have fostered hedgehogs, rescued pheasants and birds and released once rehabilitated. I also volunteer for the Bat Conservation Trust.

I gained my Level 3 Animal Management National Diploma from Easton College in 2015. And then went on to study a Foundation Degree in Animal Science and Welfare part time. I continue to further my knowledge with Continuous Professional Development which is evidenced by my portfolio of certificates which is available to be viewed on request. I am fully insured and have a clean DBS certificate. I am registered with the Pet Industry Federation.

We only use positive reinforcement methods and reward based training. We do not condone the use of prong or shock collars or any other aversive methods.

I pride myself on my patience, kindness and competence — and my clients would agree. It’s why so many of them use my services on a regular basis. Remember, no job is too big or too small for me to handle, so please get in touch. I can’t wait to start looking after your precious pets.
